production baker (bread focus)

We are currently hiring for a full-time Production Baker with a focus on our Bread Production. Our ideal candidate has had prior bakery experience or at the very least some commercial kitchen experience. Experience in a sourdough-based bakery working with fresh-milled flour is preferred. You must be detail-oriented and thrive in both team-work and individual-work. This is a core production position—we are looking for someone to commit to growing with us. You must have Tuesday thru Saturday availability. Shift times vary, but go no later than 4:30 pm.

Job Responsibilities include:

  • Scaling, mixing, shaping, baking a variety of sourdough breads and other bread products

  • Milling flour on our stone mill

  • Deepening your knowledge in bread fermentation and how to produce consistent results

  • Cross-training on some Pastry Production support tasks as needed

  • Standing on your feet for 8-hr shifts (excluding breaks :)

  • Lifting 50 lbs ingredient bags safely and sustainably

Job Compensation includes:

  • $23-26 per hour base wage depending on experience

  • Eligible for our tip pool which adds $3-4 per hour to your base wage
