ABOUT US

Bread Bike Bakery is a small artisan bakery that makes naturally leavened bread (sourdough) and California-style pastries with fresh stoneground flour. Our focus is on flavor, nutrition, and balance in our baked goods.

Through our work we strive to cultivate, educate, and inspire an inclusive community that cares about their food, their farmers, their planet, and each other. We actively participate in our community through baking, biking and connecting with one another.

OUR ingredients

We focus on sourcing high quality ingredients from growers and companies that align with our ideals. All our whole grain flour is milled fresh each day on our 40” New American Stone Mill.

We work with a few different growers that grow organically and regeneratively here in California - Learn More About Our Flour

We supplement our whole grain sourcing with organic milled flour and seeds from Central Milling. We use organic dairy and butter from Straus Family Creamery. All our chocolate is organic, fair-trade and comes from TCHO. Our coffee beans are locally roasted by Cacti Coffee Roasters. We work with several local growers for our fresh produce like Halcyon Farms, 2 Peas in a Pod Farm, and many others. Because we attend 5 farmer’s markets each week, we are able to source the most current and fresh organic produce that is available :)

We are always interested in learning about and working with regional growers so please connect us with any you may know of!
